π΅ Safari Money β Important Rules
- βBring $435 USD for the safari balance
- βNotes must be 2006 or newer
- βNotes must have no rips or tears β the bank won't accept damaged notes
- βPrefer large denominations: $100 and $50 bills; top up with $20, $10, $5, $1
- π‘If you're uncomfortable carrying a large amount of cash, hand it to a leader in a named envelope before boarding

π Tsetse Fly Warning β Important!
Do NOT wear blue or black clothing on safari. Tsetse flies are strongly attracted to these colours. Their bite is extremely painful and can cause significant swelling. They also spread sleeping sickness.
One of the Go MAD leaders was bitten once and her whole foot swelled up for days. Light, neutral colours only.
